The teams would be headed by an orthopaedic surgeon and would also comprise experts from other streams like neurology and nephrology, Health Minister AFM Ruhal Haque told bdnews24.com on Saturday.
Haque said the teams would assess the condition of the injured and would provide necessary treatment to them at Savar.
If need be the experts would refer the patients to Dhaka, he added.
The nine-storey Rana Plaza caved in on Wednesday killing over 300 people. Scores are still missing in the country's worst ever industrial disaster.
On the day of the disaster, the Minister had visited the spot and assured to provide all supports to the victims. He said arrangements were also made to bring the victims to Dhaka for free and better treatment.
Haque had told reporters: “We came here at the Prime Minister’s order. I am in constant touch with her. A total of 10 medical teams have arrived here from Dhaka.”
“Those who cannot be treated here will be taken to Dhaka,” he added.
