In the four-part show, archival footage and personal videos and photos are intertwined with present-day interviews and scenes of the group embarking on their 2022 tour
The singer is set to receive the first ever Contemporary Icon Award at the 46th annual Songwriters Hall of Fame event taking place on June 19 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Manhattan.
Hall Of Fame President and CEO Linda Moran says the "Applause" singer inspired the award, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"It could be said that this honour was created with Lady Gaga in mind. She has enjoyed monumental popularity on the charts, on radio, TV and the Internet, not to mention the continuous press coverage she has generated," Moran said in a statement.
In addition to singing, Gaga wrote some of her most iconic hits, including "Poker face", "Just dance" and "Applause".
