Nancy hospitalised after overdosing on 'sleeping pills'
Popular singer Nazmun Munira Nancy has become grievously ill after reportedly overdosing on sleeping pills.

She was shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital from Netrokona Sadar Hospital on Saturday evening.
A doctor at the Netrokona Sadar Hospital Khaled Mosharaf told bdnews24.com she had been shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital as her condition deteriorated soon after she was brought to the hospital around 7pm.
A duty nurse at the hospital said the singer consumed 20 pills on Friday night and another 40 pills on Saturday.
Her two brothers ‘Sunny’ and ‘Jonny’ rushed her to the hospital from her residence at the town’s Sathpai in the evening.
She had racked up a controversy last year by accusing the government of “unleashing” police on her after her Facebook posting in support of the BNP.
She also claimed receiving threats over the phone from unidentified sources since the status was posted.
