Parliament gets list of 100 loan defaulters from Muhith
Finance Minister AMA Muhith has provided the parliament with a list of top 100 loan defaulters.

The list mentions two individuals, the rest are companies.
The two individuals are - Mozibor Rahman Khan and Emdadul Haque Bhuiyan. The companies, Bismillah Towels and Jamuna Agro Chemical, have been mentioned twice.
The amount defaulted on until April was Tk 1.11 trillion, according to the finance minister, but the list does not assign specific figures to the defaulting individuals and organisations.
The minister provided the list of top defaulters in response to a question from the ruling Awami League MP Mohibur Rahman Manik.
Muhith was however absent in parliament on Monday and Food Minister Qamrul Islam answered the questions addressed to him.
