Keep sufficient money in ATMs, BB asks banks
The central bank has asked the scheduled banks to keep sufficient money at their ATM booths during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

Currency Management Department of Bangladesh Bank issued a circular to this effect on Thursday.
The circular asked banks to ensure overall security for uninterrupted financial transactions during Eid holidays beginning on July 28’.
The central bank issued the instruction against the backdrop of ATMs running dry in the past several Eid festivals.
