Ground officials have decided to remove the covers on the pitch hosting the decisive ODI match in England’s tour of Bangladesh.

They could not do so on Monday or Tuesday.

The ODI series is currently tied at 1-1 after Bangladesh led by captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza beat England by 34 runs at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday.

Officials have been concerned about the possibility of a wash out at the decisive game in Chittagong.

Most of the English cricketers on the ODI team are scheduled to depart for home on Thursday.

The weather forecast indicates the likelihood of medium to heavy rainfall in Chittagong on Wednesday.
