It is the only change the selectors made to the squad for the first two matches.

Although opener Soumya Sarkar has lost his place in the playing eleven, he retained his spot in the 14-man squad while pacer Al-Amin Hossain, too, stayed with the Tigers despite not playing the first two matches.

Part of the squad in the Afghanistan ODIs, Taijul played the first two ODIs in the last series and managed just one wicket. But he gave away just 44 and 38 runs bowling full 10-over spells in those matches.

Taijul then made way for Mosharraf's return to the team after more than eight years in the series decider against the Afghans.

The 34-year-old spinner bagged three crucial wickets in the match as Bangladesh were spared blushes against the associate nation.

His performance in that match helped him retain position in the team for the first game against England. But the good times did not last as he turned up with a poor show in that match.

He went wicketless bowling just three overs for 23, dropped two catches and could not help his team with the bat when the situation called for it as Bangladesh slipped to a painful 21-run defeat on Friday.

He was dropped from the second match on Sunday which Bangladesh won by 34 runs to square the series 1-1.

If he gets to play, Taijul's jobwill not be easy as he will get his opportunity to impress the selectors under the pressure of a mouth-watering series decider in Chittagong on Wednesday
