He will be out of international cricket for a long time if he fails this time as well. The 21-year-old pacer is prioritising the test, scheduled for Sep 8, above everything.

Taskin was on a stretch of international matches when he gave his first test in Chennai during the World Twenty20 in March this year.

"I was in a continuous run of matches [before the first test], maybe I was tired because of that," Taskin said on Sunday.

"This time I've aptly prepared myself, so that no matter what they put me through, I can come out successful."

"I am not just honing my skills, but my mentality too. All in all, the preparation is great. I'm looking forward to a good test."

Bangladesh are still without a pace bowling coach after Heath Streak stepped down following the World T20.

The youngster, however, said he has got plenty of support in making amends to the problems in his action.

"The coaches who supervised me, they are very experienced and skilled in bowling. Mahbub Ali Zaki helped a lot in the last three-four months…so did [head coach Chandika] Hathurusingha.

"Under the supervision of specialist coaches, several cameras have been used to assess my action indoor and outdoor. Senior cricketers are helping me lift the morale."

The bowling actions of Taskin and spinner Arafat Sunny were questioned, and later they were banned during Bangladesh's World T20 campaign.

Sunny may accompany Taskin on his journey to Brisbane.
