The Tigers are scheduled to take on Australia in their second World Twenty20 Super 10 match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday evening.

ICC suspended Taskin and Sunny from bowling in international matches for illegal action on Saturday. The decision has left the Bangladesh camp dispirited.

The left-arm pacer has been sidelined since he picked up a side strain in the Asia Cup.

Mustafizur was left out of the last two matches, including the final, of that tournament and went on to miss the entire first round of the showcase event.

There was a good chance that Mustafizur would be brought back in the opening Super 10 match against Pakistan on Wednesday, but he was given more time to get back to match fitness.

Without the service of two of their more effective bowlers, Mustafizur's inclusion in the playing eleven may no more be a matter of choice in the next matches.

"Mustafizur is getting better. Coming off that injury is not easy. What I'm saying is that even if he is 20 percent fit, he has to play, as we don't have any options,” skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said on Sunday.

"If we had Taskin, Mustafizur would have been more effective. Because [Mustafizur] is just getting back in the groove. He could have played a supporting role to the main bowler. We will decide after seeing him in the morning of the match."
