British high commissioner hosts reception for England U-19 cricketers

British High Commissioner in Dhaka Alison Blake believes the England Under-19 cricket team will be able “to build long lasting friendships and take home the best memories to last a lifetime”.

They are currently playing the World Cup in Bangladesh.
 
She accorded a reception to them at her residence on Thursday evening.
 
“Sport is a wonderful way to build people-to-people links. By taking part in this tournament, you will meet people who you might otherwise never have not meet,” she said.
 

The high commissioner praised the England colts as they
– UCEP – in Mirpur on Thursday, and interacted with the students and played cricket with them. 
The England team will take on Sri Lanka in the quarterfinals on Sunday.
