But Bangladesh Under-19 technical director Stuart Law thinks a win would be enough to proceed to the quarter-finals of the Under-19 World Cup.

Bangladesh colts got their campaign off to a fine start beating reigning champions South Africa by 43 runs in the opener on Wednesday.

Saifuddin insisted the aim is to boost their net run-rate in their second Group A match at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

"The run-rate definitely matters for going to the next round. So we want the win to be a big one – that is the goal," Saifuddin told reporters after practice on Saturday.

Law, however, did not agree.

"Winning is the key. It's not about winning convincingly. If we can win convincingly, that's fine. But we can't think about that," Law told the journalists later.
