Mushfiqur Rahim's men crashed to their fourth successive loss in five matches at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Friday.

Skipper Sangakkara played a gem of an innings after electing to bat. He scored a 56-ball 75 as the Dynamites posted 166 for 6, the highest in the second match of a day this edition so far.

Spinner Mosharraf Hossain took three wickets as Superstars lost wickets regularly before folding for 132 runs in the final over.

Dilshan Munaweera (16) perished off Abul Hasan's slower in the fifth over after an opening stand of 31 with Josh Cobb (15), who was castled Mosharraf 10 balls later.

Mominul Haque (12) looked in great touch but played on a delivery from Mosharraf, who sent Ravi Bopara (5) packing in his next over to take the game away from the Superstars.

With the required run rate soaring, under-pressure Mushfiqur (23) erred in his shot selection and was trapped in front by Hasan to leave his team struggling on 80 for 5 in the 13th over.

Nurul Hasan and Nazmul Hasan held on with a 37-run stand and brought the target down to 51 off 18 balls but Yasir Shah's double-strike left them reeling.

Mustafizur Rahman and Farhad Reza cleaned up the tail and sealed the Dynamites' third win in four matches. It was the third time the Superstars had failed to chase down a target.

Mosharraf returned 3 for 15 in 4 overs. Shah, Hasan and Mustafizur chipped in with two wickets each.

The Dhaka franchise had not started well, having lost opener Shykat for a duck in the first over.

His partner Shadman Islam (15) got a start but Fidel Edwards went through his gates before Sangakkara walked in.
Sangakkara and Nasir Hossain (33) stitched a recovery with a 66-run stand. Nasum Ahmed broke the dangerous stand by taking out Nasir who hit three sixes in his 29-ball innings.

Sangakkara then settled in and slowly picked up pace. He studded his innings with nine boundaries and a six.

The classy Sri Lankan fashioned some masterful strokes to illustrate how to bat on the Mirpur track.

He took the Dynamites past 150 before going back in the last over off Mohammad Shahid.

Mohammad Shahid took 2 for 27 in 4 overs.
