He put up a ruthless batting display for Barisal Division and South Zone this year.

In his last eight innings, the right-handed batsman cracked six centuries that included three double tons with a best of 282 against Chittagong in February.

The A team called up the 19-year-old for their tour to South Africa and Zimbabwe later this month.

"I have something in mind for this tour, which is to at least be the best performer in the team," Mosaddek said after training at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

He is keen to carry his domestic form into the A team.

"I hope to play well if I get the chance. I will try to maintain the consistency of domestic cricket in the A team."
Mosaddek, who hails from Mymensingh, is looking forward to the challenge posed by the conditions in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
He, however, is in no rush for a national team call-up. He thinks the anticipation adds extra pressure to perform well.
"I don’t think it will be right for me to think about the national team right now. I am just thinking about doing well on this tour.
"If I do well, the national team will call automatically… The selectors will take care of the selection."
Bangladesh A will fly to South Africa on Wednesday. Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury will lead them in the five-week tour.
