The hosts lost the rain marred match by 20 runs on Duckworth-Lewis method at BKSP ground No. 3 on Saturday.

Bangladesh were allout for 112 in 19.3 overs after electing to bat first.

Md Amin Uddin (33) topscored for Bangladesh while Drupam Patranabish Tirtho (22), Md Suzaul Islam (16) and skipper Alam Khan (11) gave good support.

Fayez Ahmed was the pick of the Pakistani bowlers. He returned 4 for 11. Three of his wickets came in the 18th over.

Rain interrupted proceedings when Pakistan was 48 for 1 in 6 overs and eventually forced an end to the game.

Tirtho got the only breakthough sending back Mohammad Matloob, who scored a half-century in their opener. Pakistan skipper Hasnain Alam remained unbeaten on 39.

Bangladesh won the opening match against England by 14 runs on Friday.

England, however, picked up their first win beating India by 26 runs (D/L) in Saturday's other match at BKSP ground No. 4.

The tournament, which is the first of its kind, has been arranged by the International Committee of the Red Cross along with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan and Bangladesh Cricket Board.
