He has joined 26 others in elite players conditioning camp at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Thursday on his return from the United States.

Bangladesh cricketers are facing a busy spell with packed domestic and international schedules.

BCB aims to raise fitness of the players for the forthcoming season by conducting the conditioning camp.

The board kicked off the season with the 27-man camp last Saturday to prepare the players ahead of the national team's home series against Australia and A team's tour to South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Left-arm spinner Jubair Hossain has been given a week to recover from jaundice while injured paceman Abul Hasan will visit India for treatment, according to Chief Selector Faruque Ahmed.

"The coach will arrive on (Sep) 6 or 7. After that we will discuss with him and then announce the Test squad (for Australia series) with those we feel are fit," Faruque said.

At present coach Chandika Hathurusingha is on vacation at Australia.

Australia will play Tests at Chittagong and Dhaka in the two-match series.
