The board named a 27-man squad in a media statement on Wednesday.

Bangladesh will feature players from the camp in the forthcoming Test series against Australia and in the A team that will tour South Africa and Zimbabwe in October.

Gazi played in a T20 International against South Africa but was not considered for any other matches because of fitness issues.
He did not have a place in the BCB High Performance team either.

The camp offers the only hattrick centurion in Test cricket a chance to retrieve his form.

Seamer Al-Amin was sent back home from the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand earlier this year for disciplinary reasons.

Although the reasons are not clear, he has not worn national colours since then.

Pacemen Shafiul Islam, Robiul Islam and wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Mithun have also been called up for the camp that will run from Aug 22 to Sep 22.

Squad:

Tamim Iqbal, Taijul Islam, Imrul Kayes, Arafat Sunny, Mominul Haque, Jubair Hossain, Anamul Haque, Sohag Gazi, Rony Talukdar, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mohammad Mithun, Taskin Ahmed, Liton Das, Rubel Hossain, Soumya Sarkar, Mustafizur Rahman, Mahmudullah, Abul Hassan, Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Shahid, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shafiul Islam, Shuvagata Hom, Robiul Islam, Nasir Hossain, Al-Amin Hossain, Sabbir Rahman.
