The second ODI will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

The Tigers romped to a 79-run win in the first ODI at the same venue on Friday.

It was their first win against their sub-continent rivals since the 1999 World Cup.

Leading the three-match series 1-0, Bangladesh are keen to secure a series win in the second match.

“We have a great chance. Yesterday’s match was almost perfect for us. I think, there was no major slip-up,” Mashrafe told reporters at a pre-match press conference on Saturday.

Bangladesh notched their highest ODI total, 329, with centuries from Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim.

“It is not possible to play like this in every match. Beating any team anytime is possible if we can play in this fashion… if we make fewer mistakes like we did yesterday, we will have chances to win.”

Mashrafe, however, is taking it one match at a time.

“Whenever we play at home and win the first match, people start hoping for a ‘whitewash’ or a ‘banglawash’. I take them as extra pressure.

“We always want to win every match in a series. For now, the next match is more crucial for us. We want to win the next match. We will definitely not play the next match to lose.”
