In the last match of Pool A, the batsmen will face three most destructive bowlers of this ICC World Cup in Trent Boult, Tim Southee and Daniel Vettori on Friday at Hamilton.

They have been outstanding in the five matches Tournament co-hosts New Zealand have played.

Fast bowlers Boult and Southee have taken 13 wickets each in the matches to become the top wicket hunters of this World Cup.

Veteran spinner Vettori is following them with 12 wickets.

Australia’s Mitchell Starc and India’s Mohammed Shami have also picked up 12 wickets each but Vettori is ahead of them as his economy rate is 3.00 per over.

Boult, who has played only 21 ODIs, acknowledges the help he has got from Southee in his career.

In an interview published on New Zealand cricket team official website,
, he said: “I have learnt a lot from Tim over the years and I definitely enjoy bowling with him...”
Boult was all praises for former captain Vettori, as well.
“He is a world class player and for him to bring up 300 wickets last game was pretty special. He offers a lot to the unit,” he added.
Vettori is the perfect foil to slow the game down, he added.
Boult said: “He (Vettori) always seems to be a step ahead of the opposition. He really sets it up for people like myself to strike and take wickets.”
