Streak has reposed total faith in Shafiul Islam, who replaced Al-Amin in the squad.

Al-Amin’s World Cup dream was shattered after he was sent back home for breaching team rules.

This made way for Shafiul who gets a shot at his second World Cup.

Though disappointed over losing a bowler like Al-Amin in a vital event like the World Cup, Streak puts his faith in Shafiul.

“Obviously we are disappointed that he’s (Al-Amin) had to go, but I think Shafiul coming, he’s an experienced campaigner, and he’s shown some good success.

“It won’t affect us too much. Obviously our focus is on the upcoming games which are very important for us,” said the former Zimbabwe pacer.

The Tigers will take on Sri Lanka at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday. Skipper Mashrafe bin Mortaza had earlier hinted at playing Al-Amin in this match.

Streak, however, believes the bowling setup will remain balanced without Al-Amin.

“Obviously he (Al Amin) has a good record against left-handers. But like I said, the other guys have been very successful.

“We’ve seen really good stuff from Rubel, Taskin and Mashrafe the skipper, and I’m very confident that they can go out and do the job again for us.”

The ICC’s Technical Committee approved Shafiul as a replacement for Al-Amin on Monday.

Shafiul has played 52 ODIs and took six wickets in six matches of the 2011 World Cup.
