The match is set to start 11am, Bangladesh time, at the Yeonhui Cricket Ground in Incheon.

Bangladesh, with no gold to their name in this edition of the games yet, aim to retain the cricket title.

The last match in Group B, between Kuwait and the Maldives, was abandoned due to rain. Nepal, the other team of the group, had already sealed their spot in the quarters by beating the two teams and becoming group champions.

Therefore, the runners-up of Group B had to be decided through a toss, which Kuwait won to proceed.

Although Bangladesh are going through a grim phase in cricket this year, they are optimistic about holding on to the title in the games.

Regular captain Mushfiqur Rahim opted out of the competition due to his wedding. Mashrafe Mortaza will lead the team in his place.

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will be back in the side after a ban slapped on him by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
