The 28-year-old will leave on Tuesday to play the first of the two Tests starting on Sep 5, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed in a statement.

Sohag is required to face ICC scrutiny before Sep 19 after the off-spinner was reported for suspect bowling action at the end of the second ODI in Grenada.

The 23-year-old returned home from the tour early to apply for visa to the UK, where his bowling action will be examined.

Sunny has played four Tests so far and picked up 12 wickets at an average of 43.16.

He will accompany uncapped left-arm spinner Taijul Islam.

Sunny took 6 for 94 against West Indies in 2011, the best figures by a Bangladesh spinner on Test debut.

Sohag, however, had broken the record the very next year, claiming 6 for 74 against the same opponents.
