When Lendl Simmons and Chris Gayle perished very early, the hosts were in a spot of bother at 12/2 at Basseterre on Monday.

But Bravo (124) and Ramdin (169) set the ground alight with a scintillating stand of 258 runs.

Bravo survived a scare when on 10 when Mushfiqur Rahim missed a stumping chance off Abdur Razzak and the left-hander made the Tigers pay.

The pair hit some lusty blows during the scintillating partnership for the third wicket – the best-ever for any partnership by the West Indies in all ODIs.

They hit sixes at will with the short boundaries and registered their second ODI hundred.

This is the third time that a West Indian No.3 and 4 both scored hundreds in the same ODI. No other team has done it more than twice.

Ramdin's colourful innings was decorated with 8 fours and 11 sixes while Bravo hit 7 fours and 8 sixes.

Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Al-Amin Hossain sent West Indian openers back after the hosts won the toss.

Bravo was third to walk back in the 43rd over but not before hitting his ton.

Bangladesh bowled well in the last few overs to stem the run flow a bit but the damage was already done.

Al-Amin Hossain bowled a great last over and was once again the pick of the Bangladesh bowlers with 4/59.

Second ODI hero Kieron Pollard (10) followed him shortly, caught at long-on by Tamim Iqbal off Razzak in the 45th over.

In the 48th over and 18 runs later, Darren Sammy (10) missed looking to hit big and spooned it high over to deep extra-cover.

Ramdin's dazzling innings came to an end in the final over when he was caught by Nasir Hossain on the edge of the boundary off Al-Amin, who looked the most threatening bowler for the tourists.

Mashrafe, Razzak and Mahmudullah picked one wicket each. Razzak was the most expensive of the trio leaking 76 in his 10 overs.

Mominul Haque, brought in for a change, went for 19 off his only over the match.

Tigers are desperate to win this match to end their 12-match losing streak and register first victory of the year.

Bangladesh were all out for 70 in the last match -- the second time they scored below 100 in an ODI this year.

West Indies have already sealed the three-match series with two wins.
