Ahsanullah university teacher confesses to committing sexual overtures, police say
Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) teacher Mahfuzur Rashid Ferdous has confessed before court to sexually harassing students, police say.

His confession before Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Kazi Kamrul Islam on Sunday follows the deposing by five of his female students against him last Tuesday.
He was later sent back to police custody.
Court Police ASI Partho Chatterjee told bdnews24.com that the teacher had confessed to the allegations while also throwing light into some newer angles.
The teacher was arrested on May 4 following allegations of sexual harassment by students.
A volley of protests before the arrest had prompted varsity authorities to suspend him.
