Dhaka University admission tests start

Thousands of students seeking admission to Dhaka University have sat for the entrance tests.

The university authorities say they are on guard against question paper leak and cheating.

An estimated 31,000 candidates took part in the ‘Kha’ unit (arts faculty) tests for 2,296 seats.

The one-hour 120-mark MCQ test started at 10am on Friday at 69 centres on and outside the campus.

Electronic devices were banned in the examination centres and a mobile court patrolled the exam venues.

The written test for ‘Cha’ unit will be held on Saturday and drawing tests on Oct 17.
‘Ga’ unit tests are scheduled for Oct 16, ‘Ka’ unit Oct 30 and ‘Gha’ unit Nov 6.
