BSMMU budget for 2015-16 fiscal presented
The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU)’s budget for the 2015-2016 fiscal has been presented at a syndicate meeting.

Total size of the budget is little over Tk2.4 billion.
As per the budget, presented on Saturday, of the total amount, the Tk1.74 billion will be utilised for the hospital and rest for the university.
More than Tk1.43 billion will be used for salaries and allowances, Tk90 million for pensions, Tk600 million for education, and Tk20 million for research, among others.
Treasurer Prof Md. Zulfiqur Rahman Khan presented the budget at the 58th syndicate meeting at the university. Prof Kamrul Hassan Khan chaired the meeting.
The current fiscal’s revised budget was Tk1.92 billion.
