The college principals were directed on Thursday to give the address of their websites within Feb 28.

Bangladesh has 3,500 colleges, 288 of them are government-owned.

According to the order, the websites must have the photos of the teachers and of the various departments, students, the academic calendar, and class routine.

Besides, the websites must also carry a brief history of the institution, a description of its infrastructure, and the name and designations of officials, information regarding admission, forms, notices, photo gallery, list of books in the library, and a complaint corner.

Bangladesh Computer Council’s data centre will host the websites.
