The ‘D’ unit test – for the faculty of social science – will begin at 10:30am, Vice-chancellor Anwarul Azim Arif told bdnews24.com.
The examinations for other faculties will follow and continue until Nov 5.
A staggering 30,861 candidates have registered to compete for the 877 social science faculty seats.
The vice-chancellor said preparations were complete and everyone, including the law enforcing agencies, had been consulted to ensure tests were held without a hitch.
Besides the university campus, the exams will also be held in centres elsewhere, he said.
They will be held at the Nasirabad Mahila College, Omargani MES College, Ispahani Public School and College, Enayet Bazar Mohila College, Hathazari College and Premier University’s WASA Campus and BGC Trust University’s Bayezid Campus.

Subsequent trains will leave at 7:45am, 8:30am, 12:00 noon, 3:00pm, 4:00pm and 8:30pm.
