Nayeem Uddin, a student of a private university, was browsing the stalls at Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Summit in Dhaka in search for an answer to the question on Friday.

He appeared happy to see the opportunities at the summit in Sonargaon Hotel.

“I’ve learnt many things here. I think I will get a part-time job,” Uddin said.

He said now he has an idea about getting jobs related to IT, software or office work at call centres or other domestic and foreign companies.

Many of the stalls were collecting CVs of the visitors.

“We will call them for part-time or fulltime job whenever we need,” Service Solution official Sadia Afrin said.

This year’s summit, themed 'Domestic Experience, Global Business', aims at projecting available local skills in the light of domestic experience.

The ICT Division, the Department of ICT and the Bangladesh Association of Call Centre and Outsourcing (BACCO) co-organised the summit in association with ADN Telecom Limited, one of the leading IT and telecommunication service providers in Bangladesh.

The other organisations associated with the organisers include Summit Communications Limited, Dhaka Bank, BTRC, a2i, and BASIS.
