The main objectives of the workshop were to bring together key decision makers from the textile and garment sectors, technology suppliers, and financial institutions to exhibit energy efficiency products and services and to highlight savings in energy consumption, green financing to engage business-to-business interactions among key stakeholders in the textile sector, the release said.
At the event, IDLC Finance Ltd, a PaCT partner, signed the formal engagement letter with IFC to promote financial products that will facilitate greater adoption of resource efficiency technology across the textile sector.
