The Indian High Commission in Dhaka on Friday said the MoU was signed on the sidelines of the ongoing 8th Asia Pharma Expo at the Basundhara International Convention City.

IPMMA President Mahendra Mehta and BAPI Secretary General Shafiuzzaman signed the cooperation agreement.

Indian High Commissioner Harsh Vardhan Shringla witnessed the signing, and congratulated the two associations on working together.

He said the pharmaceuticals sector represented “an area of high growth” for both countries.

Shringla encouraged them “to fully exploit the complementarities and linkages existing between India and Bangladesh to the fullest potential”, and assured them of his full support.
