Dhaka Stock Exchange general manager dismissed
Jiban Chandra Das, General Manager (finance and accounts) of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), has been dismissed.

Das told bdnews24.com that a letter of dismissal had been delivered to his residence on Thursday night.
DSE Managing Director Swapan Kumar Bala was contacted several times but he refrained from commenting on the topic.
Requesting anonymity, a DSE official has confirmed the authenticity of the news.
“I received the dismissal letter on Thursday night. It said that I had been sacked with three month’s salary as rendition,” Das told bdnews24.com.
“The letter did not mention any reason,” he added.
The dismissal has been in effect since Dec 25, according to the letter, Das said.
