Le Méridien unlocks Dhaka with First Night celebrations

Le Méridien Dhaka hotel has celebrated its first night with promises of professional and local hospitality.

Over 500 dignitaries from the arenas of politics, business and art gathered at the largest upscale hotel of the capital city on Sunday to experience the French brand’s signature programs intertwined with local arts and culture.
 
Amin Ahmad, Chairman of Best Holdings Limited, the organisation that owns Le Méridien Dhaka, said they were honoured to partner with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Incorporation.
 
 “Starwood is associated with crisp professional hospitality, while Le Méridien is a brand that personalises the experience for guests, enhancing on elements of local hospitality,” he said at the function.
 
Located at 79/A Commercial Area, Khilkhet, within two kilometres of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Le Méridien Dhaka offers 304 guestrooms and suites.
 

The hotel also features the signature Explore SpaSM, a fitness centre as well as the highest skyline infinity pool, on the 16th floor.
The hotel’s General Manager Ashwani Nayar said his hotel combined chic modern design with a focus on the arts, creative cuisine and inspiring local culture.

Italian specialty restaurant Favola offers some of the most diverse flavours from Italy in the hotel, while Olea serves the best of Mediterranean delights.
Dilip Puri, Managing Director, India, and Regional Vice President, South Asia, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, was also present.
 Paris-born Le Méridien has over 100 hotels and resorts across the globe.
