The rising price of food is contributing to budget-conscious diners cutting back
The company’s half yearly (January-June) unaudited financial report published on the Dhaka Stock Exchange website on Tuesday gives the information.
According to the report, the mobile-phone company made Tk 10.48 billion in post-tax profits in the first six months against Tk 10.58 billion in the previous corresponding period.
Grameenphone’s after-tax profit was Tk 5.13 billion and earnings per share (EPS) Tk 3.8 in the April-June period.
The figures were Tk 5.42 billion and Tk 4.1 in the same previous period.
