New destinations in Regent plan

Regent Airways is increasing flights to its foreign destinations and planning to fly on new routes.

The private airline will fly from Dhaka to Kathmandu three days a week starting from July 15. 

It will also have daily Dhaka – Singapore flights from May 10.

The new destinations and increased flights were part of the airlines $100 million expansion plans, Regent Airways said in a statement on Sunday.

The airline will fly Dhaka - Bangkok four days a week starting fromMay 15, it said. 

Meanwhile, plans have been finalised for starting a new route from Dhaka to Chittagong to Oman’s capital Muscat, said Managing Director Mashruf Habib.   

Regent will have daily flights from Dhaka to Muscat and Chittagong to Muscat at the end of July, he said.

It was also in the process of starting flights to Jeddah, Riyadh and other cities in Saudi Arabia.
