ADN holds 11th AGM, unveils future plans

Country's leading IT and telecommunication service provider ADN Telecom Limited has held its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Dec 7 at Lakeshore Hotel. ADN's performance of the last one year, annual report, directors' report, audit report, appointment of auditors and its future business plans for next year have been set forth before the shareholders at the meeting.

The company's shareholders also approved its annual and audit reports at Sunday's meeting in Dhaka.

ADN offers internet, data and voice communication services at home and abroad.

Company Chairman and Managing Director Asif Mahmood presided over the meeting, attended among others by directors Md Mahfuz Ali Sohel, Md Moinul Islam, Khandker Mahmooda Saeed and AKM Shafiul Azam.

Formerly known as Advanced Data Network Systems Limited, ADN started operations in 2003.

It boasts a diverse access network built on wireless, fibre optic and satellite-based infrastructure.

According to its website, the company has licence for providing countrywide internet, IP telephony and VSAT services.

ADN, which owns several licenced frequencies, has also introduced and marketed latest technologies like WiMax, Wi-Fi and Radio-Mesh.

It has formed strategic partnership with leading local and foreign telecom operators.

Its sister concerns include Tech-Valley Networks Limited (TVNL), InGen Technologies Limited and ADN Technologies Limited.
