Price of per bhori of 22-karat gold has now been fixed at Tk 47,181 against the previous rate of Tk 48,405.60, 21-karat at Tk 45,046.36 against Tk 46,247.76, and 18-karat at Tk 38,456.20 against Tk 39,657.60.
Traditional gold price has been lowered to Tk 26,244 a bhori from Tk 27,410.40.
The association, however, has kept unchanged the price of 21-karat silver at Tk 1,166 a bhori.
Its General Secretary Enamul Haque Khan told bdnews24.com: “We have cut down the gold prices to adjust with the international market.”
BJA, in June, had raised the prices of 22-karat gold by Tk 1,166 to Tk 48,405.60.
