The company held a press conference on Monday at the city's Ruposhi Bangla Hotel to introduce its products and announce the launch of its first exclusive PC-plus store in Dhaka in sync with this plan.

Amar Babu, managing director of Lenovo India, said the company had nearly 20 percent market share in the world's personal computers market.

"But, in Bangladesh, we have only about six percent market share. Now we want to increase our focus on Bangladesh,” he said.

“We are poised to achieve double-digit growth through our range of innovative products,” he added.

Lenovo showcased a range of personal computers at the press conference, including Flex 2, a dual-mode laptop priced at Tk 60,000. Yoga 2, which boasts four different user modes, was priced at Tk 65,000.

Tablet PCs such as the A7-50, priced at Tk 19,000 and the C340, priced at Tk 54,000 were also projected.

All these products will be available at the Lenovo Exclusive Store at the Multiplan Centre on Elephant Road.
