Akhaura Port to remain closed for 7 days
Brahmanbaria's Akhaura port will remain closed for seven days for Shab-e-Qadr, Eid-al-Fitr and weekly holidays.

It will remain closed on July 25 and 26 and again from 28 to August 1.
AC (customs) of Akhaura port Mizanur Rahman said," during holidays, immigration operation will continue as usual for the nationals of two countries.
General secretary of C&F Association of Akhaura port Md Monir Hossain said, "Barring July 27, the port will remain closed at a stretch from July 25 to August 1. All sorts of export-import operation will remain suspended during the period."
"Port operation will resume from August 2,” he said.
