Banks to remain open Saturday
Bangladesh Bank in a circular sent to the top executives of commercial banks has asked them to keep their banks open on Saturday (June 28).

The directive was issued on Wednesday afternoon for the convenience of NBR to cash the deposited cheque/ pay orders in June 2014 and for the taxpayers to pay taxes.
June 30 is the last day of FY2013-’14. FY2014-’15 will start from July 1.
