The airline is planning to acquire two turbo-troop aircraft on lease to serve these routes, Kevin Steele, Bimans MD said.

He told bdnews24.com, “We are looking to start domestic operations in November this year. We are also looking for 2 turboprop aircraft on lease.”

“These will be on 5 year dry lease. We expect them to join our fleet on or before November 1.”

These kinds of aircraft are commercially viable for low fuel consumption and maintenance cost. These are also suitable for short distance routes.
