The Chinese envoy says the agreement would ease the way for Bangladeshi exports and reduce the trade deficit between the countries
An aircraft carrying the aid reached Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong on Saturday evening.
Chittagong Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Habibur Rahman received the relief materials at the airport.
He told bdnews24.com that the relief included blankets, hygiene kits, tarpaulin and large tents.
"This is the largest relief consignment we've received from foreign countries until now," he said.
Malaysian Red Crescent representative Vladislev Ischuk and Chittagong Red Crescent Secretary Abdul Jabbar were also present.
With the Malaysian Red Crescent aid, Bangladesh received around 480 tonnes of relief materials for over 400,000 newly arrived Rohingya refugees.
