New Nepal ambassador meets State Minister Shahriar Alam
Chop Lal Bhushal, Nepal's new ambassador to Bangladesh, has called on State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam at his office.

During the meeting on Wednesday, the foreign ministry said, the state minister highlighted the historically warm and friendly ties with Nepal and hoped that the existing relations would be further strengthened in the coming days.
They also discussed various aspects of bilateral relations including trade and investment, connectivity, power sector cooperation and people-to-people contacts.
The ambassador also hoped that the two countries would be able to harness the existing synergies to take the bilateral relations to the next level.
Bhushal presented his credentials to the President on July 18.
