Outgoing Afghan Ambassador calls on foreign minister

Ambassador of Afghanistan to Bangladesh Abdul Rahim Oraz has paid a farewell call on Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali at the latter’s office.

During the meeting on Tuesday, he expressed his gratitude for the support he received from the foreign minister and from the government during his tenure.

Ali appreciated the efforts and contribution of the Ambassador to strengthen bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

He welcomed Bangladesh’s willingness to deepen bilateral ties with Afghanistan which are based on traditional bonds of friendship and multitude of commonalities.

The outgoing ambassador also expressed hope that some of the proposed Agreements would be concluded soon to further strengthen the bilateral relations.
