Bangladesh contributes in education for Muslims: Envoy to Pakistan

Bangladesh is contributing to education for Muslims by hosting the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s or OIC-affiliated Islamic University of Technology, its high commissioner in Pakistan says.

“Dhaka is committed to cooperation among Muslims around the world under the OIC,” Tarik Ahsan said while hosting an Iftar in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Bangladesh is hosting the next session of the Council of Foreign Ministers in Dhaka next year.

Members of Pakistan Senate, diplomats, politicians, bureaucrats, businessmen, journalists, and officials of the Bangladesh High Commission and local elites attended the Iftar.

Earlier, the Islamabad mission hosted an iftar-dinner exclusively for the media persons on June 7.
