The tickets for June 21 journeys will be sold on that day, Railways Minister Mazibul Hoque said at a press conference at the Rail Bhaban on Thursday.
Revealing the sale schedule, he said the advance tickets will be sold at Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka and Chittagong Railway Station from June 12 to 16. The sale will start at 8am every day.
There will be 23 counters, including one for women, at Kamalapur.

For return journeys, the tickets will be available at Rajshahi, Khulna, Rangpur, Dinajpur, and Lalmonirhat stations from June 19.

The government has fixed June 25 to 27 the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays this years. The Eid is expected to fall on June 26, subject to the appearance of moon.
Minister Mazibul said Bangladesh Railway has cancelled holidays of its officials to ensure undisrupted service for the Eid passengers.
He said additional measures have been taken to ensure security.
It was said in the press conference that 171 new coaches have been added to the trains for the Eid journeys.
A total of 229 engines, including 21 new ones, will pull 1,332 coaches for the Eid travel.
Bangladesh Railway Director General Md Amzad Hossain and officials of law-enforcing agencies were also present at the conference.
