He will stay at the Hotel Intercontinental Frankfurt, said an official of Bangladesh embassy in Berlin.
On May 3, he will return to London before making his way to Dhaka.
President Hamid left Dhaka for London on Apr 24.
His Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin did not mention his Germany tour while briefing the media. His Deputy Press Secretary Md Abul Kalam Azad also told bdnews24.com that he was not aware of any such plan.
According to a Government Order or GO issued on Apr 17, President's Office Secretary Sampad Barua, Defence Secretary Maj Gen Md Sarwar Hossain, personal physician Col Niamul Gani Chowdhury and ADC Maj Md Jahangir Alam are accompanying President Hamid during his tour to London and Frankfurt.
The 74-year-old goes abroad almost every year to treat his glaucoma.
