"He severed relations with us before settling in his in-laws' house a long time ago. He was spoilt there. I won't take the body," Fulsena Begum told bdnews24.com at her house in
Shibnagar on Thursday evening after the operation ended.
Abu's father was not at home.
The police found four bodies, including that of Abu, in a house after the raid ended.
Police said Abu was a member of militant group Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh.
The three other suspects could not be identified on Thursday.
Police said the four suspects were killed when their bombs went off.
On Wednesday, Fulsena said Abu moved to the raided house three months ago with his wife Sumaiya Begum and daughters 'Noori', 8, and 'Sajida', 6.
One of the girls was with Sumaiya's parents while the other and Sumaiya were evacuated from the house hours before the raid ended.
