Authorities say the mischief was perpetrated sometime during the night.

The incident comes within a week of a similar incident in Chittagong University, where wall art by fine arts students were vandalised by splashing burnt engine oil during the Bangla New Year.

More than 600 sculptures by students and teachers were found scattered all around the faculty premises on Tuesday morning.
