The arrests were made on Tuesday during raids at the capital's Uttara, Badda and Paltan areas.

RAB-3 chief Tuhin Mohammad Masud told a media briefing on Wednesday nine victims have been rescued from the airport area, who were about to trafficked to Malaysia and Cyprus.

He said that equipment used to produce forged passport, visa and cash have been seized from the nine suspected human-traffickers.
