NDC holds seminar on human resource development for achieving ‘Vision 2041’

The National Defence College (NDC) in Mirpur Cantonment has organised a daylong seminar on human resource development as part of achieving Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s ‘Vision 2041’ to be a developed country.

The seminar was focused on education, and administrative reforms for the realisation of the vision, a statement issued by ISPR, the military PR agency,  said on Wednesday.

Prime Minister’s Adviser for international affairs Dr Gowher Rizvi was present as chief guest at the closing session.

“He appreciated NDC for taking the initiative of organising a seminar on such an important contemporary issue for the first time in the country”.

NDC Commandant Lieutenant General Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy inaugurated the seminar which was conducted by a senior faculty member of NDC Air Vice Marshal M Sanaul Huq.

Eminent intelligentsia and personalities from both military and civil society as well as 82 participants of National Defence Course 2017, which included 29 senior military officials from 12 friendly countries, and 28 Fellows of Capstone Course 2017 attended the seminar.

Professor of English at Dhaka University Syed Monzoorul Islam and Former Secretary Md Nazrul Islam Khan presented two separate papers.
